EASY solutions for Microsoft environments are very common in the market. EASY for Dynamics NAV alone boasts some hundreds of installations. Version 9 has now been launched with new and enhanced features. And that's not the only positive news that EASY holds in store for Microsoft users and partners with a corresponding customer base.

EASY has again shifted to a higher level as far as Microsoft is concerned. Last year the Mülheim team for solutions in the Microsoft environment grew significantly, taking into focus important ongoing developments.

'Drilled out' EASY for Dynamics NAV

The result is the latest release version of EASY for Dynamics NAV. Through version 9, EASY created a cumulated version that is by far and away more than just a service release version and that have been factored into the numerous project experiences of recent years. Version 9 is not just compatible with nearly all currently used Nav versions; it also provides many improvements in the stability, performance and convenience sectors. In addition to connecting the current EASY Archive Smart version, the new functions include also the use of the Adaptive Schema. And our work continues: the second half of 2017 will already see version 10 for all current NAV release versions.

Optimize, optimize, and again optimize…

The EASY for Dynamics NAV 9 launch demonstrates how EASY completes the Microsoft environment, consistently optimizing it. But this is only one example among many. For example, EASY further invested into stabilizing its current EASY for EXCHANGE version. EASY Archive Smart support has also been added to it. Additionally, it now allows searching in selected folders, which tremendously eases the everyday office workload. Last but not least, an interface for EASY Archive Smart has been added to EASY for SharePoint. This also allows deeper integration. EASY for SharePoint allows the user to archive documents requiring archiving as part of a current project. In that case, archiving can be manual, automatic or periodic. Moreover, EASY for SharePoint includes a retrieval client that enables the user to search archives directly in SharePoint.

EASY Invoice as a key workflow component

EASY made a strategic decision concerning EASY for Dynamics AX: this solution no longer maps workflows based on SharePoint. Instead, EASY's own product EASY Invoice is used to design and control automated invoice processing. EASY Invoice is thus turned into the key invoice workflow component in the non-SAP environment. One thing is clear today: the solution's agility has significantly increased with this change.

All these are snapshots - however, EASY for EXCHANGE, EASY for SharePoint, EASY for Dynamics NAV and EASY for Dynamics AX already offer a single solution platform that leaves little to be desired in terms of freshness and performance. And it is constantly improving.
