… Power management company Eaton highlighted the impact and cost to homeowners of power outages and surges on Designing Spaces® airing on Lifetime® Television. The segment emphasized Eaton residential solutions helping keep the power on and protect valuable electronics, as well as the Eaton Certified Contractor Network (ECCN), which offers services to homeowners. The first segment aired on May 20 and will re-air on May 27 at 7 a.m. ET/PT.

'Each year, power outages, surges and spikes are estimated to cost the U.S. economy upwards of 150 billion dollars in damages and impact 13.2 million people,' said Tami Armagost, ECCN program manager at Eaton at Eaton. 'Eaton worked with Designing Spaces to bring attention to the impact of power outages and discuss the innovative technologies and support, like the Eaton Certified Contractor Network, that can help protect homeowners and keep the lights on.'

The segment on Designing Spaces discussed how Eaton supports a nationwide network of certified electrical contractors, the ECCN, which offers experienced services to homeowners. The show also highlighted Eaton standby generator solutions, automatic transfer switch technology, surge protection, wiring devices and other residential solutions.
