Electromac SAIC is an Argentina-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of a variety of low, medium and high-tension electric motors and generators. The Company's main activities also include technical support services, such as the maintenance, reconstruction, repair, and upgrade of its products. Its products are mainly distributed to industrial establishments, petrochemical plants, as well as thermo, hydraulic and nuclear power stations. In addition, its products are also used for the installation of electrical trains, subways and railway cars. As of September 30, 2012, the Company held minor stakes in such entities as Trainmet Seguros SA, Miramonte SA and Finca los Alerces SA.
