After falling in love with cooking during high school, Chef Moeller took his passion for food and earned a culinary degree from Johnson and Wales College in Providence, R.I. where he graduated cum laude. He went on to spend time cooking in France and the U.S. Virgin Islands before a chance meeting in 1992 landed him a job cooking for the President of the United States.
Chef Moeller had the privilege of serving President George H.W. Bush, President William Jefferson Clinton and President George W. Bush during his 14 year career at White House. He also prepared dishes for world leaders like Nelson Mandela and celebrities such as Sophia Loren. Freedom Village is excited to bring Chef Moeller and his exclusive insight into the White House to its community.
