Etisalat hosts "Together we Enegise the world "- an ICT forum for Energy and Utility Professionals

Led by Etisalat's senior officials, the collaborative workshop focused on the role of technology in fuelling business transformation for energy and utility companies, enabling higher efficiencies.

In presence of HE Dr Matar Hamed Al Neyadi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy of the UAE, Etisalat hosted a one-of-its-kind industry event to shed light on ICT solutions for the country's modernized energy sector.

Led by Etisalat's senior officials, the collaborative workshop focused on the role of technology in fuelling business transformation for energy and utility companies, enabling higher efficiencies. More than 85 top industry professionals gathered to discuss industry challenges and respective ICT solutions such as mobility, managed services, M2M communications, Cloud and security.

The energy and utilities industry is complex and growing, but also needs to be modern and efficient. From analytics to networking to mobility, the ICT opportunities are abound for this sector to survive the upheavals in market and collapsing business cycles. Though this dynamic industry can be fraught with uncertainty, specialized ICT solutions from an experienced service provider can do a great deal to protect businesses in unforeseen times of market crisis.
