EMIS GROUP PLC EMIS and Niche Health today announce a five-year partnership agreement that will see Niche Health's ground breaking electronic insurance reporting solution iGPR (Intelligent General Practice Reporting) deployed free of charge to all EMIS GP Practices.
iGPR has been developed over a two year period in consultation with GPs and the Insurance industry to address the time consuming and 'paper heavy' problem of producing medical reports on behalf of patients.
The solution enables Practices to complete insurance reports in a matter of minutes managing the end to end process including report request, patient consent, report creation, automatic redaction of non-permitted information, report delivery and payment electronically.
In transforming the long standing cumbersome weekly practice task, iGPR saves substantial staff time, increases the security of patient information over existing postal arrangements and is provided to UK General Practices at no cost.
