THE EMPIRE DISTRICT ELECTRIC COMPANY NAMES KYLE SLAGLE
DIRECTOR OF WATER OPERATIONS
JOPLIN, MO - November 17, 2014 - Mr. Kyle Slagle has been promoted to director of Water System Operations for The Empire District Electric Company. He is responsible for all aspects related to staffing, operation, and maintenance of the Ozark Beach hydro plant as well as the municipal water systems in Aurora, Marionville and Verona.
Mr. Slagle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Arkansas. He began employment with Empire in 2008 as an engineer in the Line Design department and has worked as a structural design engineer, project manager for various projects within the Engineering department, and manager of Water Operations.
