There is no music without energy. The Pala Enel Energia in Novellara, in Emilia, will host again for two days (Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 February) 'Nomadincontro', the concert that pays a tribute to the legendary leader and unforgettable singer of the Nomadi Augusto Daolio.

The event -now in its 25th edition - attracts every year thousands of people: in 2016 the registered guests were as many as 15,000. Not only fans and musical artists, but also people with a passion for music, all having in common a need that has become essential: to keep their smartphone batteries from dying once the show on stage gets underway and they will have to take pictures or record videos.

To this end, Enel has set up the space in Via Motta in the industrial area of Novellara, to ensure a charging point for always-on smartphones and tablets. During the packed musical event, two special performances are planned for the legendary band, which has been on the scene for 54 years: the first on Saturday night, the second on Sunday afternoon, with the unfailing award of the 'Tribute to Augustus'. A prize for the Italian musician who stood out during the year for artistic merit, but also for social and solidarity causes. Following the tradition, the winner will donate the money of the prize to a humanitarian association of his choice, so that the energy collected in the heart of area of Emilia known as Lower Reggiana will reach the rest of Italy or the world.

In 1995, when the CD called 'Tribute to Augustus' was let out, over 120 million lire were collected. The money was equally divided among the children of a Palestinian village near Hebron (thanks to the Salaam Ragazzi of the Olivo), those of an orphanage in San Paolo in Brazil (through the New Community of Don Gino Rigoldi) and the young Tibetans of the Sera Je monastery in India (with the collaboration of the Lama Zong Khapa Institute).

This year, the choice regarding the association on which to bestow the sum from the Tribute to Augustus will be made by a well-known television and theatre character: the comic actor Enzo Iacchetti.
