RAJESH BAHL PROMOTED TO CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER OF EROS DIGITAL

London, July 6, 2011: Eros International Plc (Eros International), the largest integrated Indian film studio, today announced the promotion of Rajesh Bahl as Chief Operating Officer of Eros Digital, a newly formed division of Eros, with effect from June 1st 2011.

In his new role, Bahl will oversee the development plans of the rapidly growing digital and new media arm of Eros International plc. Bahl previously led the digital efforts as Chief Digital Officer of Eros India since his appointment in March 2010. As COO, Bahl will report into Ricky Ghai, CEO of Eros Digital.

In the past year, Bahl has led a number of visible efforts to solidify Eros position in the Digital realm. Under Bahl, Eros anchored a premium partnership agreement with Verismo Networks, an internet TV platform producing company based out of the U.S to distribute Eros Movies in international markets. Apart from devising the decisive monetizing approach and leading the team to execute the same, Bahl also handled the digital marketing campaigns for all the new film releases. In addition, Bahl is also driving the digitization process and have successfully deployed a state in art "Digital Asset Management" platform, giving the company the flexibility to efficiently monetize its vast library of 2000+ movie titles globally. Bahl has also been instrumental in consolidating Eros as a premium partner channel on YouTube and has grown the channel to become the 9th most viewed channel globally in the entertainment category and making it one of the major revenue streams for Eros Digital.
