Luz Saúde Juridical Department Considered One of The Most Influential in the Iberian Peninsula

The Juridical Department of Luz Saúde, leaded by João Rebelo, was distinguished as one of the most influential and innovative teams of internal juridical services in the Iberian Peninsula, integrating the 2017 Legal 500 ranking of the top law professionals.

The Legal 500 is one of the world most renowned directories of lawyers and law firms, exclusively dedicated, for 30 years now, to assess performance and elaborate reports on its nearly 300 thousand clients, along with the organization of conferences and meetings.

These assessments produce rankings, englobing over 100 jurisdictions and being a reference in the sector.

Luz Saúde team was selected to integrate the GC Powerlist Iberia, which identifies the best legal professionals in Spanish and Portuguese companies, in terms of influence and innovative capacity.

'This distinction translates the recognition of a true team work. To be part of this ranking is indeed a motive of pride, but it shows, above all, that value creation for companies is a result of the search of innovative solutions, involving a close work relationship between in-house and external lawyers', highlighted João Rebelo, adding that, for the future, his team promises to 'continue innovating and respond adequately to the multiple challenges constantly faced in the health sector, always giving priority to the high quality of health services provided'.

This 2017 ranking of the best in the Iberian Peninsula also distinguished the juridical departments of some major national companies, such as Galp, CGD, REN and TAP.
