COMPLETION OF THE ACQUISITION OF THE PHARMACEUTICAL ASSETS OF KAMSRI PRINTING & PACKAGING PVT. LTD.
Further to the announcement on 16 October 2015, Essentra plc ("Essentra" or "the Company") is pleased to confirm the completion of the acquisition of the pharmaceutical packaging assets of Kamsri Printing & Packaging Pvt. Ltd. ("Kamsri") with effect from today.
The acquisition of Kamsri is a compelling strategic fit for Essentra, and is consistent with the Company's Drive for 2020 strategic objective of supplementing balanced, profitable organic growth with value-adding transactions in its targeted end-markets.
With a complementary product range, Kamsri provides Essentra with an entry point into the attractive pharmaceutical and healthcare industries in India, thereby reinforcing the Company's global packaging capabilities and enhancing the opportunities for customers.
