Further to a question posed by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission in the wake of respective press reports, NBG informs investors that, like most European banks, it is participating in the stress test being carried out by the European Central Bank in the context of the single European supervisory mechanism. The final results of the test, which are processed and known only to the ECB, will, according to current information, be announced by the ECB in the second half of October 2014.
NBG will inform investors of any significant developments regarding this issue, in line with the legal and regulatory framework.
