Delivery of World's First Barge-Based FSRU

EXMAR takes delivery of World's First Barge-Based FSRU and secures long-term employment for the unit.

EXMAR is pleased to announce that the Company has taken final delivery of the world's first barge-based floating LNG storage and re-gasification unit (FSRU) from the Wison Shipyard in Nantong, PRC. The unit has a re-gasification capacity of up to 600MMSCFD and a storage capacity of 26,000 m³ of LNG.

This delivery is a milestone in EXMAR's history as this FSRU is the first of the new generation of floating regasification assets, barge based, and perfectly positioned to add value in medium sized LNG import projects all over the world in a fast track, flexible and cost efficient way.

In addition to the delivery, EXMAR is pleased to confirm that long-term employment for the FSRU has been secured with a reputable counterpart and hire will start from mid-2018 onwards. The Company will communicate further details regarding this contract in the near future in coordination with the customer.

Levering van de eerste op een platform gebaseerde FSRU ter wereld

EXMAR neemt levering van 's werelds eerste op een platform gebaseerde FSRU en verzekert tewerkstelling op lange termijn voor deze unit.

EXMAR is verheugd aan te kondigen dat de eerste op een platform gebaseerde drijvende LNG opslag- en hervergassingseenheid (FSRU Floating Storage and Regasiciation Unit - Drijvende hervergassingseenheid) ter wereld werd opgeleverd door Wison Shipyard in Nantong, PRC. De unit heeft een hervergassingscapaciteit van 600MMSCFD en een opslagcapaciteit van 26.000 m³ LNG.

Deze levering is een mijlpaal in de geschiedenis van EXMAR; de FSRU is namelijk de eerste van de nieuwe generatie drijvende hervergassingseenheden, op een platform gebaseerd, en perfect gepositioneerd om bij te dragen aan de Midsize LNG-import projecten over de hele wereld op een snelle, flexibele en efficiënte manier.

Bovendien bevestigt EXMAR de tewerkstelling voor de FSRU op langetermijn met een respectabele tegenpartij die mid-2018 aanvangt. EXMAR zal verdere details betreffende dit contract communiceren in de nabije toekomst, en dit in samenwerking met de klant.
