META PLATFORMS, INC. Today, Oculus shared its latest developments in VR hardware, software and content with roughly 3,000 Oculus Connect 3 attendees - and hundreds of thousands more who joined online.
Details of the much-anticipated Touch controllers launch were announced. Pre-orders begin on October 10 and come bundled with VR Sports Challenge and The Unspoken. At $199 with a December 6 ship date, Touch includes an additional sensor and a Rock Band VR connector.
The team also revealed Santa Cruz, a feature prototype demonstrating inside-out tracking that opens up the path to standalone as an entirely new VR category.
