The Mexican national team beat Trinidad and Tobago at home, in a match played early this morning, at Aztec Stadium, in the Mexican capital city. The blue and white midfielder, Héctor Herrera was in the starting team and scored the third goal for Mexico, taking a perfect free-kick on the third and last minute of stoppage time.

The match counted for matchday nine of the second qualification stage of the CONCACAF for the 2018 World Cup, to which Mexico already qualified. Dragons Diego Reyes, Miguel Layún and Jesús Corona also played from the start in the team led by Juan Carlos Osorio.

Mexico will be playing again in the early morning of Wednesday, against Honduras, is in the lead of group A of the North and Central America and Caribbean qualification stage, with 21 points, six more than the second in the group, Costa Rica, with one less match played.
