Sydney, Australia , October 9, 2012-Gartner today announced the final program for its annual flagship conference in Australia, Symposium/ITxpo, to be held on the Gold Coast from 12 to 15 November 2012.
Gartner Symposium/ITxpo is Australia's largest and most important annual gathering of chief information officers (CIOs) and senior IT executives. Around 1,500 CIOs, IT leaders, Gartner analysts and technology solution providers will gather at the Gold Coast Convention Centre to discuss their key technology initiatives including mobile, social, cloud and big data.

The main agenda kicks off on Tuesday morning with a welcome address from Gartner CEO Gene Hall and an analyst keynote lead by Gartner senior vice president and head of research Peter Sondergaard.
The conference and exhibition features nine role-based tracks, plus a special program just for CIOs, focusing on the issues, decisions and actions required for CIOs to be successful.
The agenda includes more than 200 sessions, workshops, how-to clinics, roundtables and more led by more than 50 Gartner analysts and Executive Partners from around the world. Delegates have the opportunity to book a one-on-one meeting with a Gartner expert to discuss their specific challenges.
