Genworth Financial : Jennifer Anderson Joins Genworth’s U.S. Life Insurance Division as Senior Vice President of Human Resources

Richmond, VA (August 21, 2017) - Genworth announced that human resources executive Jennifer Anderson of Midlothian, Virginia, has joined Genworth's U.S. Life Insurance (USLI) division as senior vice president of Human Resources, effective Aug. 21.

Anderson will lead a team of Human Resources (HR) professionals responsible for supporting USLI's life insurance, long term care insurance and annuity businesses and its mission of helping ease the financial challenges of aging for consumers and their caregiving families.

Anderson joins Genworth from Capital One, where she was managing vice president-Head of Talent, responsible for recruiting, development, performance management, executive talent management and HR's diversity and inclusion strategy. Since joining Capital One as a recruiting associate in 1998, she has held numerous HR roles, including vice president/senior director of HR Consulting and senior director of the Bank HR Team, where she was instrumental in implementing core HR practices across the business.

Anderson earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Mary Washington College and currently serves on the board of Challenge Discovery Projects, Inc.
