The Alps are renowned for their beauty. From imposing mountain peaks to peaceful lakes, the terrain is the perfect playground for a professional sports and adventure photographer like Christoph Oberschneider who lives in nearby Salzburg, Austria. Thanks to GoPro's QuikStories, Award recipient Christoph was able to capture a day of hiking and outdoor adventure with his girlfriend and best friends. Using his HERO5 Black and Karma, he took in the unreal scenery and created a shareable moment of the day's events. To make the trip even more memorable, he even scored a $1,000 cash for submitting his Story to GoPro Awards.
What did Christoph think of the newly launched QuikStories?
'I'm using professional video editing software for most of my videos, so when I first read about QuikStories I was really skeptical that it could be a good idea to let an app edit a video on its own. But after giving it a try, I really have to say that I'm amazed by how little effort it takes to create a beautiful edit with QuikStories! What I like most about it is how it cuts the scenes to the music, that feature alone makes editing so much more enjoyable for me. Sometimes the app needs some help with selecting the best scenes of a video clip, but most of the time it magically gets it right on its own, I'd really love to know how that works!'
