GrainCorp's new initiative Croptimiser allows growers to generate a better return by upgrading certain loads. So far this harvest over 1,200 growers have Croptimised 250,000 tonnes.
Another strong week across NSW with high volumes being received across central and southern regions especially around Dubbo, Parkes and Wyalong. Canola deliveries are nearing completion across NSW with wheat and barley continuing to be received.
GrainCorp's new site in Calleen near West Wyalong passed 100,000 tonnes this week as growers responded positively to the new facilities.
Barley and wheat deliveries have continued across Victoria as harvest activity expands south across the Swan Hill, Wimmera and Central regions. Victorian harvest has been affected by total fire bans closing sites and limiting harvest activity across the state.
Queensland sites continue to receive post-harvest deliveries.
