Leading Digital Investigations Conference Features Hands-on Training Sessions and Presentations on Cybersecurity, E-Discovery and Digital Forensics

PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Guidance Software (NASDAQ:GUID), the World Leader in Digital Investigations™, announced today that Joel Brenner, a former inspector general of the National Security Agency (NSA), will be the keynote speaker at CEIC® 2014. The event brings together security, e-discovery and forensic investigations professionals for hands-on lab sessions and presentations delivered by industry experts representing leading government agencies and corporations from around the world. Brenner was the NSA's inspector general, responsible for its top-secret internal audits and investigations. He went on to oversee U.S. counterintelligence policy and strategy for the director of national intelligence, where he was responsible for integrating the counterintelligence activities of the 17 departments and agencies including the FBI, CIA, and the Departments of Defense, Energy and Homeland Security. He has also served as a prosecutor in the Justice Department's Antitrust Division and has extensive trial and arbitration experience in private practice.
