FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Halliburton Recognizes Its Longest-Serving Employee with Celebration and Building Naming

DUNCAN, OKLA. - Jan. 28, 2014 - Opal Wilson has made her mark on Halliburton history. She has worked for the company for 60 of its 95-year existence and was recognized by colleagues and company executives as Halliburton's longest-serving employee during a celebration on Jan. 24 at the Duncan Golf and Tennis Club. At the celebration, Wilson learned the company will rename its finance center at its Duncan office the Halliburton Opal Wilson Finance Center in her honor.
Wilson began working for Halliburton in Duncan, Okla., in 1953 at just 18-years- old. She started as a machine operator and has served in many roles. Wilson, currently a senior secretary, is described by colleagues as having a cheerful personality and professional attitude, always friendly, always willing to help and knowing just who to contact or what to do to get things accomplished.
