Its motto is 'Drive your Dream', and with almost every car and motorcycle manufacturer gearing up to showcase their latest products, the 95 European Motor Show in Brussels January 14-22 will welcome nearly half a million visitors to experience the best in automotive. With sound management and car audio key components of the driving experience,HARMAN will be front and center with the most innovative automakers ready to deliver the dream to drivers.

According to a 2016 Ipsos RDA study, consumers understand the value of having a premium branded audio system in their vehicle and are willing to pay for it. As more and more consumers are demanding high quality audio, more and more automakers are choosing HARMAN's advanced technology and solutions. This includes Audi who will be showcasing the latest high-end Bang & Olufsen sound technology, paired with the HARMAN High 2 infotainment system, in the smallest premium crossover - the all-new Audi Q2.

The Bang & Olufsen system in the Audi Q2 packs 14 active loudspeakers, a 15-channel amplifier with Class D technology, MOST150, microphone input, scalable DSP power, 5.1 surround sound and 750 watts of total power output for an surround sound experience inside the car like no other. But there's only so much words can convey, with audio this powerful you really need to feel it. By donning Oculus glasses, lucky visitors to the show's Audi Lounge will have the opportunity to actually sit inside the Q2 and experience the system for themselves. As part of the Bang & Olufsen Sound Ride, visitors will be led on a spectacular VR journey through four different soundscapes: sound waves, urban environment, sound tunnel and serenity.

Over at BMW, the new BMW 5 series will be showcased as a world premier with the Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround System. This system has been designed exclusively for the BMW 7 and BMW 5 series featuring 16 speakers with 1,400 watts or power, QuantumLogic surround sound processing, and Diamond Dome speakers capable of frequencies far beyond the range of human hearing for superb clarity and detail. This is coupled with the latest NBT Evo infotainment system connected by HARMAN for a superb and seamless in-car experience.

And at Toyota, the focus will be on the all-new Toyota C-HR. The tailor-made premium JBL audio system in the C-HR has been precisely tuned to the vehicle's interior and features two newly designed acoustic Horn Tweeters to give drivers a concert hall-like sound experience on the road. Besides 9 Toyota vehicles equipped with JBL sound systems, Toyota will also showcase 18 Toyota vehicles featuring HARMAN's Toyota Touch2 with GO and Toyota Touch2 with GO Plus infotainment systems.
