Heijmans has reached agreement with the holders of the cumulative financing preference  shares  of Heijmans N.V., namely Beleggingsfonds de Zonnewijser, Delta Lloyd Levensverzekering and Van Lanschot Participaties, concerning the revised dividend effective as of 1 January 2014. The dividend for the coming five years has been set at 7.9%. This concerns the cumulative financing preference shares B, each with a nominal value of € 0.21. This dividend was 7.25% over the last five years.

The agreement was concluded under the suspensive condition that the General Meeting of Shareholders will adopt a resolution approving the required corresponding change to the Company's Articles of Association. This meeting will be held on 16 April 2014. The next cumulative preference shares dividend review date is 1 January 2019.

The outstanding capital from these cumulative financing preference shares currently amounts to € 66.1 million. Pursuant to our objective to further optimise the capital structure, Heijmans intends to reduce the outstanding amount on these shares by approximately 40%. This will be effected over the coming years such that the company's solid financial position will not be materially affected.
