Heijmans has signed up to a partnership agreement with C.V. Ontwikkelingsmaatschappij Parijsch comprising the Municipality of Culemborg and Mourik Groot-Ammers, for the development and construction of nearly 900 homes in the Parijsch district of Culemborg.

The agreement covers a period of ten years starting in 2017. Culemborg is one of the centres where the growth of the Utrecht region is to be absorbed over the coming years. The whole plan will be carried out in phases with purchase agreements for the ground being drawn up for each subplan.

The Parijsch district is an expansion of Culemborg where Heijmans has already been involved in development and construction for a number of years. The design is based on green transport links and integrates well with the historic centre and the Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie (New Dutch Waterline). Heijmans sees a strengthening housing market in this region. The district is located about thirty kilometres from Utrecht, providing this Gelderland community with an excellent starting point for the future. The new homes will be developed according to current demand on the Culemborg housing market.
