ISO 9001:2008 certification concerning all OTE activities

-Successfully redesigned company's processes in order to achieve better customer experience

OTE achieved certification to the internationally recognized ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System standard concerning the entire spectrum of its activities. The certification was awarded following the redesign of all corporate processes, in order to achieve better customer experience.

OTE Group Chief Information Officer, Mr. George Athanasopoulos, stated: "The efficiency of a company depends to a large extent on its organization and way of operation. We at OTE, having placed the customer at the center, redesigned all our processes and, by utilising the capabilities offered by systems and new technologies, and by adopting new operating practices,. Certification to ISO 9001:2008 for all OTE activities demonstrates our commitment to continuous improvement, aiming at offering upgraded services to our customers."

To achieve the certification, OTE implemented over the past two years new and innovative methods of analyzing, documenting and improving its processes and procedures and additionally managed to abolish obsolete practices and regulations.

The ISO 9001:2008 Certification concerns the entire spectrum of OTE activities and more specifically pertains to "Design, Development and Commercial Sypply of Communications Products and Services", "Design, Implementation, Operation and Maintenance of Networks, Communications Systems, and IT Infrastructure", "Customer Services", "Support Operational Functions", and "Operation of Shops".

The certification process was conducted by the independent organization TUV Hellas (member of TUV Nord Group) and the certification is valid for a period of three years.
