Between 1997 and 2002 Roland Bentele filled various HR leadership positions at Swissair, most recently as a member of Executive Management, responsible for personnel services for all Swissair employees. Between 2002 and 2004, Bentele was responsible for HR management at Hilti AG for all staff members in Liechtenstein, as well as for the Service Department at the headquarters in Schaan (FL). As Head Human Resources at Flughafen Zürich AG, Zurich Airport's operator, he was also a member of Executive Management between 2004 and 2009. Most recently, Bentele filled the position of Managing Director at Neomentum AG, a company active across Switzerland in the field of coaching/reintegration.

As of 1 April 2014, Bentele will take over the management of the HR International department from Markus Isenrich, who will begin his well-earned retirement. For 29 years, Isenrich played a considerable role in shaping Helvetia from a variety of functions.

Isenrich joined the company in 1985 and has filled various leadership roles since then, initially as Head Real Estate, later as Head Group Support, and he was the longstanding General Secretary of the newly-formed Helvetia Patria. In 2000, he took over the management of the newly-formed Department of Human Resources and Services and became a member of the Group Executive Management at the same time, a position linked with various mandates with subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad. He has been Head HR International since 2011. He was also Head Group Legal Services until recently.
