Hertz Give + Go supports local communities through donation of Hourly Car Rentals proceeds

PARK RIDGE, N.J., Dec. 17, 2013/PRNewswire/ -- The Hertz Corporation (NYSE: HTZ) is announcing expansion of its Give + Go rental program which makes it easy for customers to contribute to their local communities. The proceeds from the first hour of every Hertz 24/7 Give + Go rental are donated to a designated charitable organization with the goal of making everyday activities, like renting a car or running errands, contribute to  healthier communities. Hertz has extended its relationship with Food Bank For New York City to provide an additional 50,000 meals to local New Yorkresidents through Give + Go. Each Hertz 24/7 rental in a Give + Go car will provide up to 70 free meals to New Yorkers in need.
