According to a new research from BI Intelligence in the US market, video advertising spending will increase 3 times faster on mobile than on desktop.

By 2020, US digital-video advertising spending from PC and mobile will grow at a five-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 21.9% to reach $13.3 billion by 2020, compared to $5 billion in 2015.

BI Intelligence highlights that video is quickly replacing static display advertising on desktop. Indeed, video will account for 41% of total desktop display-related spending in 2020, up from a 26% share this year.
