Hitachi to Provide Support for the Recovery from the Earthquake in
Yunnan Province, China
Tokyo, Japan, August 22, 2014 --- Hitachi, Ltd. (TSE:6501) and Hitachi (China) Ltd. today announced that Hitachi, Ltd. and Hitachi (China) Ltd. have decided to donate RMB 1 million (16.5 million yen) to support earthquake relief efforts in Yunnan Province in China on August 3rd.
Hitachi expresses deep condolences for victims of the earthquake and sincerely hopes for the earliest recovery of the people and areas in Yunnan province affected by the disaster.
