Hitachi Zosen Corporation has received an order from Odawara City, Kanagawa, for upgrading work on the Environmental Program Center.

■Project outline
The project seeks to extend the service life and improve the energy-saving performance of incinerator No. 2, completed in April 1979, and incinerators No. 3 and No. 4, completed in March 1991.
Key components such as combustion and exhaust gas processing equipment will be renovated with the aim of prolonging the service life of the facilities, and through energy-saving features, reducing CO emissions by at least 3% over current levels.
