Momofuku will Join Jean-Georges Within the Seaport District's Pier 17 in Lower Manhattan

NEW YORK (March 29, 2016)-The Howard Hughes Corporation® (NYSE: HHC) announced today thatThe Momofuku Group will open a new restaurant concept in the revitalizedSeaport Districtin the new Pier 17 building. The Momofuku Group, founded by Michelin-starred and James Beard Award-winning Chef David Chang, has gained world-wide recognition for their innovative cuisine while supporting local, sustainable farmers and food purveyors.

The Momofuku restaurant, along with the previously announced Jean-Georges restaurant, will both be located on the first level in the Pier 17 building currently under construction. This marksthe first time that highly acclaimed chefs David Chang and Jean-Georges will open in the same building. The new Momofuku restaurant will be a part of the Seaport District which will encompass seven buildings on several city blocks totaling more than 365,000 square feet filled with cutting edge dining, shopping, entertainment and cultural offerings that will make the district one of New York City's premier destinations. Momofuku andJean-Georgesare the first to be announced in what will become an unparalleled range of dining choices by the most notable restaurateurs designed to attract locals and tourists to return and rediscover the iconic and historic neighborhood.
