Hügli shareholders approve all proposals with a large majority

The shareholders approved annual report, the annual statement of accounts and the consolidated financial statements 2016 and, in an advisory vote, the remuneration report for 2016. The dividend was set at CHF 16.00 per bearer share and CHF 8.00 per registered share at previous year's level.

All members of the Board of Directors and of the Group Executive Management were granted discharge for their function in the financial year 2016. In addition all Board members were re-elected for a further term of office of one year. The incumbent Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Jean G. Villot, was confirmed in office. As all the members of the Board of Directors have joint responsibility for all tasks, all members were elected to the Compensation Committee. The statutory auditor OBT AG, St. Gallen, as well as the independent proxy, the lawyer Andreas G. Keller, were also re-elected.

The maximum total compensations to the Board of Directors until the next AGM 2018 and the Group Executive Management for the financial year 2018 were also approved with a large majority. Dr. Alexander Stoffel, member of the Board of Directors as well as major shareholder, acted as a chairman for this agenda item, connected with additional information to the compensation policy.

The share will be traded ex-dividend at the stock exchange starting from 19 May 2017.

The dividend will be paid on 23 May 2017.

The Half-Year Report 2017 will be published on 18 August 2017 at 07.00 a.m.
