Subject: Acquisition of 100 percent of the Film and Polymer business of DuPont Teijin

Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited ("IVL") would like to inform that it has, through its indirect subsidiary Indorama Netherlands BV (INBV), signed a definitive share purchase agreement on October 10th 2017, with DuPont Teijin to acquire a 100% stake in their Films business.

DuPont Teijin Films (DTF), a joint venture between DuPont and Teijin Limited, is the world's premier producer of Biaxially-Oriented Polyethylene (BOPET) and Polyethylene Naphthalate (PEN) polyester high value-added films for the specialty, industrial, packaging, automotive, advanced magnetic media, photo systems, electrical and electronics markets and many more products that are essential in modern life and has been recognized for their market leadership and product innovation.

The business comprises of eight production assets in the US, Europe and China, with a global innovation center in the UK with a total film/polymer capacity of 277,000 tons per annum

This acquisition will mark a new chapter for IVL. It is the next step in creating a leading position for customer solutions in films.

The value of the above acquisition, calculated in accordance with the regulations of the Capital Market Supervisory Board and the Stock Exchange of Thailand, as prescribed by the regulations of the Stock Exchange of Thailand Re: Disclosure of Information and Other Acts of Listed Companies Concerning the Acquisition and Disposition of Assets, 2004 (as amended) is less than 15 percent and the total size of all transactions in the past 6 months also does not exceed the 15 percent threshold limits as prescribed in the regulations.

The transaction is expected to be completed within the fourth quarter of 2017/ early 2018 subject to the usual regulatory approvals.
