The St David's Partnership, owners of St David's in Cardiff, one of the UK's premier retail and leisure destinations, has today announced that lingerie retailer Bravissimo, is to open a 3,978 sq ft regional flagship at the centre.

Well-known for their lingerie, swimwear and clothing for women who are D cup and above, the new Bravissimo store will be set across two floors and located on the upper level on the Grand Arcade, in close proximity to John Lewis. The store will stock Bravissimo's full collection including their own-brand lingerie, swimwear and clothing alongside an assortment of lingerie and swimwear from other leading brands. Bravissimo is working on the design of the new store with Four by Two.

Commenting on the opening, founder and chief executive of Bravissimo, Sarah Tremellen, said: 'We're really excited to be relocating our existing Cardiff shop and opening a flagship store in St David's. We first opened in Queens Arcade 10 years ago so we have lots of loyal customers in the city and beyond. Designing the new store has given us a great opportunity to reflect the sense of community and fun within our brand. We aim to provide a really welcoming space for our customers to come and feel uplifted and good about themselves, and we can't wait to welcome them to our new shop in one of the UK's leading retail hubs.'

Speaking on behalf of the St David's Partnership, a joint venture between Land Securities and intu, Colin Flinn, regional director at intu, commented on the news: 'The addition of the Bravissimo flagship to St David's portfolio will further strengthen the centre's regional draw, and alongside our high profile fashion brands the new larger store will appeal to the existing loyal customers in Wales.'

The news follows a very successful 2016 for St David's which saw the arrival of leading fashion and lifestyle brand's including Victoria's Secret, Kiehl's, Footlocker and most recently Cornish fashion brand, Seasalt.

These include Hugo Boss, Radley, Vivienne Westwood and Jo Malone. The dining offer at St David's is equally impressive, with brands such as Jamie's Italian, wagamama and Wahaca, and has the first Shake Shack outside of London.
