Intu Properties : signs up flagship Hollywood Bowl for Lakeside’s leisure extension

intu has signed up Hollywood Bowl as another anchor for its 225,000 sq ft extension at intu Lakeside

The UK's leading tenpin bowling business will open one of its biggest centres at intu Lakeside's new leisure development which will also be anchored by Nickelodeon's first UK shopping centre attraction when it launches next year.

The 34,000 sq ft flagship venue represents Hollywood Bowl's latest generation of family entertainment centres with 24 fully computerised ten-pin bowling lanes, including a number of exclusive VIP lanes. It will also feature an American diner, a stylish bar and fun packed amusements and pool areas. The décor of the bowl will be a celebration of Americana, including a full-size vintage Ford Mustang.

Two more leisure operators and 10 food and drink outlets will also open in 2018 as part of the 175,000 sq ft first phase of intu Lakeside's leisure extension.

intu revealed plans for a Nickelodeon-themed family entertainment centre at intu Lakeside in May 2016 as the result of entering into arrangements with Spanish leisure park operator Parques Reunidos.
