IP GROUP Actual Experience plc (AIM: ACT), the analytics-as-a-service company, announces that Robin Young, previously non-executive director of the Company, will be appointed as Chief Operating Officer with effect from today. Robin was appointed to the Board of the Company on 1 September 2014 and will step into this newly created position in response to the continuing growth of Actual Experience and the need to build a global operation to support its international customer base.
Robin has extensive CIO, COO, technology and operations experience, previously holding positions at blue chip public companies including Mitchells & Butlers, GlaxoSmithKline, Proctor & Gamble and Ford Motor Company.
Robin will join Dave Page and Steve Bennetts on the executive Board, with Stephen Davidson remaining as non-executive chairman and Sir Bryan Carsberg and Dr. Mark Reilly as non-executive directors. The Company intends to appoint an additional non-executive director in due course.

Issue of Options
As part of the Company's policy of incentivising its key management, the Board has resolved to grant 30,000 EMI options over ordinary shares in the capital of the Company ('Ordinary Shares') to Robin Young. These options are exercisable at a price of 262.5p per Ordinary Share and will vest in equal annual instalments over a four year period. This will bring the total number of options held by him to 100,000 (including his existing 70,000 non-EMI share options vesting at 207.5p in equal annual instalments over a three year period).
