Itron : Appoints Bruce Douglas SVP and GM of Software and Services

Bruce Douglas-a seasoned technology executive with over two decades of experience building software- and services-related businesses at both global corporations and smaller start-ups with companies like CIBER Inc., Oracle, Sun Microsystems and Neogent Inc.-has been appointed Itron's senior vice president and general manager of Software and Services. Douglas assumed his role on Jan. 26, 2015.
In this role, Douglas will be responsible for architecting Itron's Software and Services growth plan. He will focus on Itron's existing Electricity, Gas and Water business lines as well as broadening the solutions portfolio to help deliver business value to our utility partners around the world.
