JRF Appeals Against Court Decision on the Rent Reduction of Kawaramachi OPA

Japan Retail Fund Investment Corporation ("JRF") announces that it has filed an appeal to the Osaka Supreme Court today on the Kyoto District Court's ruling at the first trial on January 16, 2015 concerning the lawsuit on the rent reduction of Kawaramachi OPA (the "Property"), brought against JRF by the tenant of the Property, OPA Co., Ltd., thorough Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited, the trustee of the Property (the "Trustee"). JRF decided to appeal to the Osaka Supreme Court as JRF believes that the request of the rent reduction lacks rationality and there is a gap between JRF's belief and the Kyoto District Court's ruling.
