Jardine Lloyd Thompson : JLT Re announces acquisition of Risk and Reinsurance Solutions Corp

• Expands JLT Re's treaty business into the key markets of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean

• Enhances collaboration with the JLT Latin America Network for the benefit of JLT clients

JLT Re is pleased to announce the acquisition of Risk & Re-Insurance Solutions Corp (RRiSC). RRiSC, a reinsurance intermediary specializing in casualty treaty business based in Miami, Florida, was established by Anthony Mirabal in 2001. RRiSC will form part of JLT Re (North America) Inc.

Ed Hochberg, CEO of JLT Re (North America) Inc., said: "This well-respected team will enable us to expand JLT Re's treaty business further into the key markets of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, as well as to increase our presence in the Latin American region.
