On Monday 3 February, Andrea Agnelli will attend the evening organised to celebrate the 50th anniversary of SERMIG (Servizio Missionario Giovani - The Young People's Missionary Service), which has been working to help those in need since 1964.

The event, entitled "Rendiamoci Conto" (Let's Open our Eyes) by founder Ernesto Oliviero, will be an opportunity to look back on what his association has done since 1964 in Turin, Italy and all over the world.

Decades of tireless dedication have contributed to millions of nights' shelter, meals and doctor's visits for those most in need, development projects in 140 countries, three depots (besides L'Arsenale della Pace in Turin, where the headquarters are located, there are also depots in Brazil and Jordan), millions of young people met (both believers and non), pilgrimages, world peace rallies, training courses, seminars and creative workshops.

SERMIG'S values are universal, part of Juventus' DNA, and they will be reaffirmed by president Agnelli on Monday night.

The Bianconeri are at the forefront of a number of solidarity initiatives, such as Crescere Insieme (Grow Together) to aid the neonatal department at the Sant'Anna hospital in Turin, Fondazione Piemontese per la Ricerca sul Cancro Onlus (Piedmont non-profit Foundation for Research into Cancer), Un calcio al Razzismo (Kick Out Racism) and Gioca con Me (Play With Me), developed with the Turin branch of UNESCO.

The SERMIG event will be held at 18.00 CET in Piazza Borgo Dora, 61, Turin on Monday 3 February.
