NORTHGLENN, Colo., June 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Colorado Virtual Academy (COVA), a statewide online public charter school serving students in kindergarten through 12th grade, honored 130 graduates during its 2012 graduation ceremony on June 9.

The ceremony took place at the Macky Auditorium Concert Hall at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Weston Kieschnick, an instructional development coordinator at COVA who has worked with students in more than 30 countries delivered this year's keynote address. The ceremony also featured a speech by COVA Student Government President Austin Perkins, Salutatorian Abreanna Bardosssas from Parker, CO., and Valedictorian Rachel Salzano from Greeley, CO.

"On behalf of the COVA teachers and administrators, I would like to congratulate the graduating class of 2012," said Heidi Heineke-Magri, Head of School at COVA.
