New York - July 7, 2016 - Kate Spade & Company (NYSE: KATE) today announced that Marissa Andrada will join the Company as Senior Vice President of Human Resources, effective July 18, 2016. In this role, Ms. Andrada will oversee the Company's Human Resources division and assume responsibility for corporate and field talent development, performance management, and associate relations globally. She will report to Craig A. Leavitt, Chief Executive Officer and replaces William Higley, who will be moving on to pursue other opportunities after 20 years with the Company.

Ms. Andrada has more than 20 years of experience in a range of human resource roles. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President of Partner Resources for Starbucks Coffee Company, overseeing the Company's talent strategy in both the Americas and globally. Prior to that role, she served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at GameStop Corporation and Head of Human Resources at Red Bull North America.
