Kinepolis Group specializes in operating multiplex movie theaters. Net sales break down by activity as follows:
- operation of movie theater multiplexes (95.3%): sale of tickets, confectionery, and beverages, sale of advertising space, event organization, etc. At the end of 2012, the group had a network of 23 multiplexes located in Belgium (11), France (7), Spain (3), Switzerland (1) and Poland (1);
- leasing of commercial spaces (3.5%): restaurants, outlets, etc.;
- other (1.2%): cinematographic distribution and production, and technical services (primarily technical assistance and projector maintenance; Decatron).
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: Belgium (58.9%), France (24.5%), Spain (14.8%) and other (1.8%).
