Regulatory News:

The headquarters of the DIRECCTE (regional department of companies, competition, consumption, labour and employment) and its territorial unit of Paris are leasing offices totalling 12,413 sq.m. adjacent to the Millénaire shopping center along the banks of the canal in Aubervilliers developed by Icade and Klépierre (50/50).

Created as part of the State's territorial reorganisation on 1 July 2010, the new regional department of the DIRECCTE, which has been placed under the authority of the Prefect of Paris and the region Ile de France, and which is headed by Mr Joël Blondel, comprises services that are responsible for missions dedicated to business and economic and social parties.
Established so far in nine different locations, the services will occupy together the HQE and THPE buildings, developed by Icade and Klépierre when the buildings are completed in July 2011.

This lease enables the DIRECCTE to join the site where the ARS (regional health agency) set up last October on total office space of 16,000 sq.m., while reaching the objectives set by the Ministry in charge of the Budget which is responsible for the area.

The DIRECCTE has signed a firm 9-year lease with Icade and Klépierre, with nominal rent of €300 per sq.m. per year (before tax and charges), along with 12m² space per workstation. Keops has advised both parties.

Out of the 80,000 sq.m. of offices that are currently in the ecoparc du Millénaire, there now only remains 4,700 sq.m. to be delivered in May 2011. Such pre-letting shows the site's commercial success and is a strong sign sent to the market.
