KFH Activates Scholarship Program for Employees
KFH granted scholarships for 8 employees at local private universities

General Manager, Human Resources and General Services at Kuwait Finance House (KFH), Zeyad Al-Omar, stressed the importance of supporting the educational attainment of KFH's human capital that contributes to enhancing the comprehensive performance of KFH and maintaining its leading position. He added, in a press statement, that KFH, as part of its scholarship program, granted scholarships at local private universities for 8 Kuwaiti employees who seek to complete higher levels of education.

Al-Omar indicated that the resilient scholarship program offers employees suitable and favorable environment to complete their degrees while working, where KFH reduces the working hours for employees during semesters in order to allow them attend lectures and prepare for exams. He noted that KFH conducts a mechanism of opting employees in line with the program's regulations and conditions approved by a specialized committee.

Moreover, he explained that the scholarships are granted for employees at local private universities approved by the Ministry of Higher Education. This boosts the confidence in such universities and underlines their significant role as an integrated part of the private sector that contributes in achieving the comprehensive development in the country.

Furthermore, he prioritized the investment in human capital development and honing their skills, noting that KFH aims, by the scholarship program, at paving the way for prosperous future for employees at KFH especially that KFH prepares for career planning for its employees after their graduation. KFH also takes into consideration the importance of focusing on banking related majors such as accounting, financing, computing, banking, investment, human resources, legal, or other related majors.

He said that this step comes as part of KFH's efforts to keep strengthening employees' loyalty to the bank and motivating them for better performance and delivering exceptional client service.
