Lend Lease Celebrates Safety Week 2015

(New York, NY) - Lend Lease, one of the world's largest property, infrastructure and construction management firms, is proud to be a sponsor of Safety Week 2015, the largest industry event of its kind. Along with over fifty other national and global construction firms, Lend Lease project sites and real estate assets throughout the United States and Mexico will host a week of activities aimed at reaffirming our commitment to safety.

Throughout Safety Week 2015, Lend Lease and its partners will be engaging employees in enhanced safety training and awareness activities including equipment demonstrations, health and wellness screenings, educational sessions, certifications, reorientations, exercise sessions and recognition lunches, among others. Some of Lend Lease's notable sponsored Safety Weeks events are listed below:

New York - Lend Lease will conduct a full week of safety programing and training at Columbia University's Manhattanville development, highlighted by a Miller Fall Protection Training session jointly sponsored with Skanska on May 8th. Lend Lease is currently serving as the Construction Manager for Phase One of Columbia University Manhattanville development project, which is campus expansion of Columbia University in the Manhattanville section of New York City.

Raleigh - At Duke UniversityLend Lease will partner with Gilbane and Skanska who are managing three different construction projects on Duke's campus. The firms will come together on today to conduct a joint flex and stretch session, host breakfast and initiate a joint training seminar on Incident & Injury Free culture. Lend Lease is serving as the Construction Manager for Duke University's David M. Rubenstein Rare Book & Manuscript Library.

San Francisco - Lend Lease will host a celebration lunch with all subcontractors associated with the project for achieving over 1 million hours without a lost time incident at the LUMINA project. Lend Lease is currently serving as the Construction Manager for LUMINA, the largest residential development project in San Francisco.

Chicago -Today at 1000 South Clark, Lend Lease will provide free blood pressure screenings from Amphibious Medics to all workers on the project site. Lend Lease is serving as Construction Manager for 1000 South Clark, a new 29-story residential tower located in Chicago's South Loop neighborhood that will feature over 460 apartments.
