(Chicago, IL) - The Lendlease Chicago office, established in January 1976, is celebrating 40 years of success providing project management and construction services to clients across the Chicagoland area.

Lendlease's history is rich in landmark projects that have contributed to the distinctive face and personality of the region. Jeffrey Riemer, Executive Vice President / Executive General Manager of Chicago, said, 'The Chicago Office has a lot to be proud of. Our 600+ Chicago-area projects have literally transformed the skyline in the past 40 years.' This work, which equates to over $19 Billion in construction value, includes iconic projects such as the Harold Washington Library Center, the Navy Pier Reconstruction, Chicagoland Speedway, Children's Memorial Medical Center, the O'Hare International Airport Development program and Trump International Hotel & Tower.

Recent completions include 455 North Park Drive, a mixed-use development consisting of a Loews Hotel and residential apartments; Northwestern Medicine's 259 East Erie, an outpatient care facility; OneEleven, the transition of an existing property abandoned during construction into a luxury apartment tower; 1345 South Wabash, one phase of a two building residential development; Ida Crown Jewish Academy, an adaptive re-use project which converted a corporate headquarters into a new high school; and program/construction management services for Chicago Public Schools' Capital Improvement Program.

Current projects underway include Riverline, a new 13-acre mixed-use urban regeneration project in Chicago's River South neighborhood; No. 9 Walton, an ultra-luxurious condominium building in Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood; River Point Tower, a Class A office building located along the Chicago River; 1333 South Wabash, a residential tower for a repeat client located in the South Loop; the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools, a historic 100 year old institution which is undergoing a two phase renovation and new construction program; Water Street District, a mixed-use development in suburban Naperville, IL; and a network optimization program for Abbvie Inc., a biopharmaceutical company.
