Lenta : reaches the milestone of twenty supermarkets in Saint Petersburg

St. Petersburg, Russia; 13 October, 2017 - Lenta, (LSE, MOEX: LNTA) one of the largest retail chains in Russia, is pleased to announce the opening of two new supermarkets in Saint Petersburg. These openings bring the number of company's supermarkets in the city to 20.

The first store is situated at 24A, Kostromskoe ave. The store has a total area of 911 sq.m with 452 sq.m of selling space and is served by 6 cash registers.

The second newly open store is located at 10, Bestuzhevskaya str. The store has a total area of 1,593 sq.m with 1,045 sq.m of selling space. The store has a parking lot and 8 cash registers.

Both stores will be open from 8 am to 11pm. A broad product assortment ranging of 3,600 and 7,800 SKUs, respectively, has been selected specifically for the residents of Saint-Petersburg and includes Lenta's private labels and federal product ranges alongside various local produce. Both stores are leased by Lenta.

These stores are Lenta's eighteenth and nineteenth supermarket openings in 2017. Openings in Saint Petersburg bring the total number of Lenta stores to 201 hypermarkets in 79 cities across Russia and 67 supermarkets in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg and the Central region.
