MLS : All Time High for the Semester of 2016. Net profit after tax +36%

MLS posted its best semester ever in 2016: Profit after tax increased by 36,8% amounted to 1,99 mil. Euro in the semester of 2016. Turnover Increased by 5,4% amounting to 11.48 mil. Euro.EBITDA amounted to 3,98 mil. Euro increased by 28,4% . The equity of the company increased to 23.90 mil. Euro from 22.58 mil. Euro at 31/12/2015.

Commenting on the financial results of semester 2016, the President and CEO of MLS Mr. John Kamatakis stated:

In July 2016 in Greek market 211,000! Smartphones were sold vs. 170,000 July 2015. The share of MLS in July 2016 reached 6.8% (versus 3.2% last year), surpassing the share of Sony, LG, Microsoft-Nokia and approaching the share (in units) of Apple. It is obvious that Greeks prefer technological products that 'speak their language' adapted to their habits and are designed by Greek engineers, with high quality standards. We are excited to see hundreds of thousands of Greeks speaking Greek in their MLS Smartphones and MLS Tablets, using MAIC to make calls, write SMSs, e-mails, messages in Social Media, watching and listening video-music on YouTube and many others. We remain committed to innovation, the effort of continuing development of our products, the improvement of our services, serve the Making Life Simple, trying to improve the quality of life of our fellow humans.
