Macquarie Infrastructure Debt Investment Solutions (MIDIS), has appointed Agnes Mazurek as Managing Director in its investment team, based in London.

Reporting to Kit Hamilton, Head of MIDIS Investment Team, Agnes will be responsible for expanding MIDIS' existing European investment portfolio and securing further long term financing opportunities in Europe for their insurance and pension fund clients.

Agnes joins Macquarie from Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, where she was a Director for eight years in the project finance lending team, working on high profile assets in Sydney and London. With over 16 years experience in both credit and debt markets, Agnes previously headed the PPP structuring unit at Réseau Ferré de France (RRF) and has also worked with Natixis, Dexia, FSA and Société Générale.

MIDIS has been awarded mandates in excess of £3.3bn and deployed over £1bn into debt investments across 11 infrastructure subsectors. These include fixed, floating and inflation linked debt investments in transport, regulated utilities, social infrastructure, solar photovoltaic (PV), and wind.
